Hi,
I guess I'm the first one to post a question...Do I get a prize??...just kidding. Any way here's the thing. My daughter is 16 years old and has a bit of a self-confidence issue. She's pretty...and knows she's pretty. That's not the problem. The problem is she thinks that's ALL she has going for her and as a result, goes through boyfriends like they are going out of style and is devistated when they break up. I don't know how to convince her that she's also smart, funny, kind, and just plain fun to be around. I take every oportunity to tell her these things but get the feeling that she just doesn't believe me. To top it all off, she wanted to be a counselor but had a teacher tell her she didn't have the skills to accomplish that...could've strangled that teacher she made me soooo mad. Does anyone have any suggestions??
Thanks,
muffinmom
